The people of Calvary Lutheran Church strive to follow Jesus' Great Commission: "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything that I command you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age".
We encourage the growth of relationships among members of the community and work to serve the basic needs of all people. We feed the hungry, clothe the naked, house the homeless, heal the sick and tend to the imprisoned and the poor. It is our joyful response to God's love that empowers us work for justice, love kindness and walk humbly before our God.
We are a part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (www.elca.org). We confesses the Triune God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. In our preaching and teaching we trust the Gospel as the power of God for the salvation of all who believe.
