UPDATE ON COVID-19 PREVENTION AT CALVARY LUTHERAN CHURCH as of 3.16.2020

We are continuing to evaluate the situation and follow the guidelines the CDC and the East Central Synod of Wisconsin have recommended for public gathering. With that in mind, effective immediately, all corporate worship services, meetings and events have been cancelled (or postponed) for the foreseeable future at Calvary Lutheran Church. We will continue to give updates and prayers via email, and Facebook. We will also bring worship to you through our YouTube channel. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCY1mJOaCwAenJA_35Q7Z69g

In an effort to help those who may be struggling to get basic food items during this time, our Food Pantry will run Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 9-11 a.m. as usual. We have also given assistance to the Ashwaubenon School District who asked for our help in providing food for children 18 and under from the area who would normally be fed at school. If you are interested in helping to support these ministries, or any of Calvary’s ministries, you can mail your offering to Calvary or give electronically clicking on “Give.” If you have any questions about this, please give the Church Office a call.

Although we may not be able to physically gather together, the body of Christ is always connected through the love of God. Peace be with you.

Wedding Information
Marriage is a gift of God, intended for the joy and mutual strength of those who enter it and for the well-being of the whole human family. God created us and blessed humankind with the gifts of companionship, the capacity to love, and the care and nurture of children. Jesus affirmed the covenant of marriage and revealed God’s own self-giving love on the cross. The Holy Spirit helps those who are united in marriage to be living signs of God’s grace, love and faithfulness. Marriage is also a human estate with vows publicly witnessed. The church in worship surrounds these promises with the gathering of God’s people, the witness of the Word of God, and prayers of blessings and intercession. At Calvary, the Service of Marriage, a worship service, is a Christian celebration of God’s goodness and of the commitment you are about to make to one another. Please contact the pastoral staff (calvary@calvarygb.com, or 920-494-2431), if you are interested in getting married at Calvary, for date and time availability.
