Upcoming Lent/Easter Worship Opportunities
Every Lenten Season we are invited to come and stand at the foot of the cross. We answer the invitation because it reminds us of God’s love for us, and the suffering his Son Jesus endured for our sake. We also come to the cross so, when we come to the empty tomb, we are prepared to hear the Good News, “He is not here! He is risen!”

During our Wednesday Lenten services we are going to focus on what Jesus said on the cross. We invite you to come and listen and worship with us during this very special season.

Baptism Information
God, who is rich in mercy and love, gives us a new birth into a living hope through the sacrament of Baptism. By water and the Word God delivers us from sin and death and raises us to new life in Jesus Christ. We are united with all the Baptized in the one body of Christ, anointed with the gift of the Holy Spirit, and joined in God’s mission for the life of the world.

At Calvary, Baptisms are held on most non-communion Sundays (second or fourth/fifth Sundays of the month) at the 10:30 a.m. service; Thursday 7:00 p.m. services; or Saturday 4:30 p.m. services. Please complete the Baptism Form (card) below and return it to Calvary. Once we have your information, the pastor will contact you to confirm the date and discuss the Baptism with you in more detail.
Wedding Information
Marriage is a gift of God, intended for the joy and mutual strength of those who enter it and for the well-being of the whole human family. God created us and blessed humankind with the gifts of companionship, the capacity to love, and the care and nurture of children. Jesus affirmed the covenant of marriage and revealed God’s own self-giving love on the cross. The Holy Spirit helps those who are united in marriage to be living signs of God’s grace, love and faithfulness.
Marriage is also a human estate with vows publicly witnessed. The church in worship surrounds these promises with the gathering of God’s people, the witness of the Word of God, and prayers of blessings and intercession.
At Calvary, the Service of Marriage, a worship service, is a Christian celebration of God’s goodness and of the commitment you are about to make to one another.
Please contact the pastoral staff (pastorearl@calvarygb.com, or 920-494-2431), if you are interested in getting married at Calvary, for date and time availability.
